How To: Claim the tax credits on your federal return

• Claim the Non-Business Energy Property tax credit in 2009 or 2010
• Claim the Residential Energy Efficient Property between 1/1/09 and 12/31/16
• Retain copies of the manufacturer's certification and sales receipts
• Consult your tax advisor and file IRS Form 5695 with your federal return
